Whitney Gilliard

Whitney Gilliard

CEO of Gilliard & Co.

Growing up in foster care, Whitney has spent most of her teenage years moving from one placement to the next. Through overcoming childhood trauma and pursuing higher education, Whitney spent years advocating for foster care reform and impacted change through congressional advocacy. Currently, Whitney is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gilliard and Company and currently serves on boards and advisory councils of a variety of nonprofits, including the SBA’s SCORE program. Whitney has a passion for being a protagonist for women in business with a service mission to stop foster youth homelessness and fight for redefining outcomes of people impacted by their experience in foster care. Whitney was most recently nominated by Mayor Van Johnson and members of his new task force to sit as Chairwoman for Savannah’s AAPI. Whitney’s goal in life is to continue her legacy of being a voice for underserved humanitarian needs nationwide.
