Managing Partner, Pilot Mountain Ventures
Steve Perricone is the founder and Managing Partner of Pilot Mountain Ventures. Mr. Perricone has been an active angel investor since 1999. In 2007, he co-founded Serrano Ventures, a private investment fund, where he remains a partner today. Some representative investments of his include Ladders, Inc., a high-end online recruitment service, VietnamWorks, an online/off-line recruitment in Vietnam (acquired), Leblon Cachaca, a Brazilian rum in which he co-invested with Bacardi (acquired), Space Racers, an animated, educational children’s series, and Sweetgreen, a fast-casual salad property.
Mr. Perricone has also served as a Managing Director and the Head of the Hedging and Monetization Group within the Equity Derivatives Division of Deutsche Bank. In this capacity, he was responsible for advising clients with concentrated equity positions on tax-efficient strategies to hedge and diversify their investment risks. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in 1998 and left the bank at the end of 2010.
Mr. Perricone began his career as a technology consultant with Accenture in their Financial Services Group. He was involved in numerous bank mergers, advising clients on the many operational and technology challenges involved.
Mr. Perricone holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Wake Forest University.
