Monique Silén was born and raised in Panama City, Panama and has been living in the US for almost 18 years, 13 of those in Savannah, GA. Silén has a BS in Interior Design from Texas Tech University and an MA in Design Management from Savannah College of Art & Design. At BFG Communications, Monique had the opportunity to learn about the Branding and Marketing world. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to work at Maker Studios as a Creative Project Manager. There, Monique, focused on doing new media content, as it was a refreshing challenge from traditional advertising campaigns.

In 2014, Monique moved back to Savannah to help her husband expand his business. During this time, she became highly focused on how they both could better themselves in such a competitive marketplace. Ironically, the pandemic opened a new window to working closely with their team. Monique was able to empathize with the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of the overall team. This experience tapped into her passion for mentoring the team, which laid down the foundation on what Monique wanted to focus on in her career.
